Tiger Hill is the highest point in the Darjeeling Hills which provides the most exotic view of Kanchenjunga range. On a clear day the crown of Mt. Everest is also visible.
Batasia Loop
Situated 5 km from the town. Is Batasia Loop is the large railway loop for the Toy Train. This is an engineering marvel to overcome the step climb, which can be best experienced while taking the Joyride

Being a popular picnic spot, it is the reserver of Darjeeling water supply.

Lloyd's Botanical Garden, Rock garden & Ganga Maya park.

Comprising of 16 acre of land, and one of the best gardens in Asia, located in the heart of town, near the bus terminus.

Both these places are popular picnic spot. The gardens offers breath taking view of hill stream cascading over rocks among the slope, done up with flower gardens and sitting spaces at different levels.
Gangamaya park
About 3Kms from Rock Garden, it maidens down the course mountain stream, past gazebos. Clumps of flowering shrubs and trees. It has a small lake where boating facilities are available.
Monasteries / Tibetan Refuges Help Center / Japanese Temple / Mahakal temple.
Darjeeling has quite a number of Monasteries like the Allobari Monastery, Ghoom Monastery, Bhutia Busty Monastery.
Darjeeling also lords of the Mahakal Temple above Chowrasta, and the Japanese Temple which is 2 kms from the clock tower.

Set upon the top of Birch Hill is the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, which provides training to young boys and girls, in the field of mountaineering.
The Himalayan Zoological Parks house rare species of animal – like the Red Panda Siberian Tiger, the snow leopard breeding centre.
Darjeeling also boasts of the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, where one can take Toy Train Joy rides as well as rides to NJP Railway station.

Darjeeling has a temperate climate, the average minimum and maximum temperature is 4°C and 16° C
The raining season extends from mid June to late September. Winter tends to be dry (December to February) and snow falls only rarely.
